    Ps1 Unfairly panned PS1 games?

I know PS1 had a great mix of utter crap and utter bliss. But there are some games that I have played in which I don't understand the criticism.

    1. Jersey Devil
I got this game as a platforming fan, to see what went wrong. So far, I'm enjoying it. It does have some fairly minor flaws in terms of production values but otherwise is an enjoyable game for fans of the genre. Some trivia: the company who developed it for Sony, Behavior, went on to have a history of really bad licensed games. However, this debut game was not only one of their best but one of the few games in their history to be based on an original IP.

    2. Shadow Madness
An American take on a JRPG, by Ted Woolsey, who translated the early FF games. Again, some questionable production values and easy difficulty hinder it, but I thought the story and dialogue were brilliant, and most of all enjoyed it nonetheless.

Let me know what you guys consider to be in this category and also what you have to say about Blasto, Rascal, and any other game that is widely hated.

I remember liking Project: Horned Owl and Evil Zone more than most reviewers.

Fighting Force. Now yes the game is very difficult and fustrating but if you play it with the invincibility code its actually quite fun.

I enjoyed 3Xtreme more than most people seem to. I haven't played it in a while, but I loved it.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Chocobo's Dungeon 2 is another that comes to mind. Most western gamers didn't like it because there was no real interest in rogue-likes here until Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. And I honestly I think the CD series is the best of the Mysterious Dungeon spinoffs by Chunsoft.
