Pretty much all the Tengai Makyou soundtracks, dramas, etc.

    Dawn of Ys JDK Special

    Some Sega arcade collection.

    Magical Chase.

    Hudson Music Collection '93(?).

I bought Ys Seven LE for the soundtrack disc.

Can't think of any others without looking at my stuff.

I've got maybe 20 or so albums. Stuff of note:

Koudelka (A boot, but under appreciated IMHO)
    Sonic Boom (Weird 90s release)
Final Fantasy XIII & IX (technically for my Wife)
Wild ARMs (Michiko Naruke does good stuff)
Ar Tonelico, All soundtracks and all hymnnos releases (GUST has a very unique musical style that I enjoy)
Lunar Songs 1 & 2 (Early Iwadare is amazing; I'd really like Grandia but it is still very expensive)

I (like many I'm sure) have a ton of mp3s of many albums, but much stuff is only peripherally good. If I really like an album I try to buy it if I can afford it.

I can't believe I forgot to include this in the original list, but one of my favorites which I own is Nier. Such an amazing soundtrack that really helps define the game as well.

Katamari Damacy (the first one, all the sequels had crap music)
    Halo CE
various C64 remix albums, mostly Reyn Ouwehands stuff
C&C Soundtrack Collection (that 4cd double pack, managed to find it cheap on ebay)

I have my brother's Killer Cuts CD that came with Killer Instinct when he was a kid (if that counts as a soundtrack). I also bought Complete Trinity Sonic Heroes: Original Soundtrax a few years ago, but I no longer have it. The crowning jewels of my video game soundtracks are the Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas box set, the SA 2 CD/DVD set, and most of the Vice City CD's (I'm only missing Emotion and Fever 105).

I'm not sure if it counts, but I bought three ZUNTATA arrange albums for RayForce, RayStorm, and RayCrisis respectively.

    With ZUNTATA, you always win.

There are some worth owning. I'm gonna sell these off eventually because a grown man with Sonic soundtracks = nono.

-Triple Threat: Sonic Heroes Vocal Trax
    -Crush 40: Live
    -Sonic Adventure: Songs With Attitude

Remember those Saturn & PSX games you could stick in a CD player and have it play? I loved that.

Um. No, it's not. I can think of better things than that. Whoever put that in your head isn't exactly wise. A grown man wearing diapers is bad, but having soundtracks or such stuff to things like Sonic is not.

I basically only have the Sonic Boom CD because I was hunting for the Sega Multimedia Studio CD and this one was with it. But you're right, it's not bad, just odd to me to see a US soundtrack CD from that time period.

That's my modest collection mainly comprised of shooting games. The next one I'm looking out for is the Mahou Daisakusen soundtrack which has all three games, Mahou, Shippu Mahou, and Dimahoo making for a nice 2-disc set.
He glanced over at the head on a stake 'A Hunnic trophy, I think the man was a Visigoth He died at the Battle of the Catalaunian Fields I keep it here so that I may see it every day and remember' 'Remember what, Father?' I asked him

The scent of a burning village The sound of butchery The way peasants would flee before the Hun riders The way we would ride them down The way it felt to conquer alongside Attila and the Huns

He leaned so close I could feel his breath 'Sometimes... I miss it'

Its interesting, both Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy III (IV) had US OST disc runs back in 1994 (my copies of those OSTs are those versions). You could order them from Square over the phone.

I keep them around because they remind me of childhood. That's weird. That's one step closer to this guy.

At a certain point, it's time to move on.

A few of the video game soundtracks I've bought:

The Last of Us - Has a fairly minimalist style that really suits the bleak, melancholy world presented by the game.

Siren: Blood Curse - A creepy OST with a suitably Japanese flavour, from an often overlooked but great horror game.

Max Payne 3 - A fantastic, varied soundtrack that works perfectly in-game, and one of my favourites.

Red Dead Redemption - A brilliant western-themed OST to a brilliant western game.
