    That's my stance.

I couldn't vote but for clarification, do you consider an Everdrive emulation?

    Nope thats the real deal.

Is this was about game cases, then thats where you'd recognize your differences.

I find all my stuff in thrift stores. I sell the pretty stuff but even that is fairly beat up when put on the close up of a camera. Sure I want really nice stuff for myself but I really don't care that much anymore. I just want to play the games.

Only because I have to, I'd love them to look brand new but accept that they can't. Funnily enough though, if it's mint when I get it and it's me that makes a few dings or scratches I quite like them. I'm less bothered at any rate.

I use daily beaters for all my regular gaming because over time I've managed to get multiples of a lot of systems. I wound up with a lot of extra Sega CDs when I was collecting for that, eventually I'll get rid of them.

What I have anymore is boxed systems which are rarely used and are more for display, then everyday consoles to actually play on. The NES I've got looks nasty, but it works fine.

I won't cry if my retro console gets a simple scratch here or there. And I definitely don't care if that happens to my peripherals. It's my games that need to be in mint condition.
