Default JP Mega Cd model 1 no power

    Hello,
I got the system a few days ago as is because the person i get it from said it just died on him.
most of the time it's the fuse and even after replacing the fuse no dice.
none of the caps look bad so,what could be the issue ?
I am using a stock genesis if that helps.
    thanks,
    Sean

Did you try replacing the voltage regulators and recapping the system?

I checked the psu and that's good,
i have not replaced the caps because, the caps have no sign's of getting ready to leak.
i have not replace the voltage regulator but, don't see any burn marks on the power board.

Caps and voltage regulator are next if you already did the fuse. You can also check to make sure there is not any broken traces, solder blobs shorting something out, or cold solder joints/broken joints going on. You may have accidentally stressed something when you went to go replace the fuse.
