Odd, I grew up on Unix and Linux so I don't remember such a thing. Had Windows once but had this thing called Internet Explorer 3. Can't be the same thing? lol

Sorry, I used Netscape, then Mozilla, then Firefox, and now Chrome.

IE has always had this problem. If anything can be gleaned from this news, is that the government is using a known insecure browser, even after all this time.

For years I've been telling my dad to switch to Firefox instead of IE, but he never wanted too. he would even get mad at me.
until today! when he asked me to install Firefox for him, So I did the knuckle crack thing and vowed to make his Firefox look
exactly like his IE does. so I installed Firefox and.. wtf? since when does Firefox look like Chrome? wtf everything has been
changed around! I spend like 30 minutes fucking around with extensions just to get this piece of shit to look like Firefox again!

ugh.. now on to the good part, making it perfect as possible by installing good extensions and tweaking the shit out of it.

Soooo. What browser HAVE you been using all this time if you have been convincing people to use Firefox, but didn't know how different it looks?

I feel like I'm destroying my computer just by launching IE. Hard to believe it's lost that much market share. To be fair none are perfect, I've gotten bullshit installed while using FF. Made the switch years ago, but wanted to be different at the time so went to Opera. It was solid, had memory hoarding problems, but so does FF. Basically tabs have ruined the way I use the Internet and I never want to close out of the browser.

Portable Firefox that is set to update itself to the latest versions, but it does not change its fucking appearance after each update.

    WINK

Edit : no wait.. It just updated itself to v29 and screwed up my entire layout. goddammit firefox what did I ever do to you?

Edit 2 : One quick install of classic theme restorer later, and we're back to the normal layout.

Firefox's new design is very streamlined and not cluttery. Looks like they got rid of the navigation toolbar because I dont see it.
