As long as they get all the sound to work and saving to the sd it should be great.
We need more of these for Cd medium based consoles.
Hell, we need them for all our consoles.
Although, you could argue a laptop or pc with the best emus hooked to a decent monitor with the proper usb controllers is just a well.
But give me original hardware anyday over that, I like to use my old controllers better.(even though they will break down one day too)

Those videos are OOOOOOLD! They keep promising videos of the v2.1 board but none have surfaced yet. It is very close to completion now and hopefully we will see pre-orders soon. People that "invested" will get test boards first, no idea how long after that us regular people will be able to get our hands on them.
Cybdin, the brains behind PSIO is also working in a DC version and expressed interest in making a MEGA-CD version if he can get a console for research. All I need then is a PC Engine, Saturn and PS2 version and I'll be set! The PC-FX is a waste of time and does not need one.

There's 3. There's DCIO, Deunan's adapter and one by a fellow that goes by the name Mario on the Assembler forums.
