I wanna get that ALF-game someday; I´ve always been a huge fan of him.
Funny is, even though the TV-show was even more successfull in Germany than in the US (it was a cult like the Simpsons here) the game never came as PAL-version. Too bad that it´s even rare in the US of A.

Yes, ALF is an awful game, but it is also one of the most sought after SMS games ever. It only got a US release and not too many copies were made.

Back to the original topic... looking back tech specs can be argued till we are blue in the face.. the bottom line is the games.. if one looks at the over all game library for each system.. it becomes clear really fast that the NES had the better library of quality games (now they may or may not be your favorite genres or from your favorite series.. but the Quality and Quality are there)..

This is not to say the SMS didn't have it gems.. becuase it did (it had some great games and some good innovations as well)....

Lose from ignorant mediaf..ckers the ness was a bit of a kick in the stomach graphic wise .somethimes it was killing awfull and somethimes decent but the mastersystem and gamegear where awesome graphic wise even a GBC couldnt fix what the gamegear did with samurai showdown and fatal fury,altought street fighter for the master system looks great but just want finished it could have been better executed,but an awesome atempt graphic wise. one thing the sonic triple trouble(sonic chaos) song when you reach the train always will rock and the gamegear has maybe better sound then a ness dunno for shure but it did much effeort in sounding good,gamegear would eat a nes for lunch.

Ary Ary you're missing the point completely. Fair enough 90% of media outlets may be utter rubbish and its absolutely mind boggling how anyone could like them, but shows like Southpark and Wondershowzen wouldn't be half as funny without them.

The Master System is more powerful, I'll have to give it that. But the games on the NES were better in my opinion. I've never owned a SMS, but I do have a NES and many games for it.

If you were to ask me SNES vs. Genesis, I would say the Genesis. The Genesis is Sega's best system and probably my favorite overall (it was my first system.)

Normally I'd be offended as I like the Chemical Brothers, but their latest CD didn't wow me as much as I had hoped.


Now that I have sold my Game Gear my MS (well, Power Base Converter) is now my least used game system. That might change as my PSX is now boxed up.
