Danny McBride was the only funny element of the movie for me - I don't usually find him funny, but he was funny in this. IMO, it was a vanity project that might of been funny to me if I had seen it 20 years earlier...kinda like Hudson Hawk when I was a teenager.

And the sad thing is that this trend reflects the nature of people today, the shallow filthy pompous pricks.

And anyone who seriously makes the effort to go watch an Adam Sandler flick, end yourselves.

I've never watched Nostalgia Critic before, but I might now. The video is spot on what's wrong with Hollywood flicks today.

I don't like Jonah Hill, I don't know why. I find him unappealing and he seems to be in everything nowadays. Anyone feel the same way?

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

I've been thinking that for a few years now. He must have made quite a few important friendships to be given so much high-tier opportunity, which makes me think that he's probably a likable person. However, I don't personally find his comedic acting to be particularly funny, and have yet to see him in a role that justifies so much attention from the biz. I suppose his movies make money, but I guess I'm too old to see much value in it.

I'd love to see an actress of comparable looks and build get so many big roles and attention. Oh wait.....

Wow, they must be very contrasting types of humor because I absolutely loved ''this is the end'' and I absolutely hated ''the world's end'', it was so boring to me! - which is strange because I really liked his older Alien movie he did with Rogen.

I'm a fan of the British sense of humor. The World's End, Hot Fuzz, and Shawn of the Dead all featured the two guys from Paul, but were completely British made and you can definitely see the contrast in humor. Paul was meh to me.

Hot Fuzz is fantastic! Actually, the trio of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and director Edgar Wright has been a slam dunk for me as I've loved everything they've done together.

I've grown tired of the Apatow and Happy Madison regulars, and would have to go as far back as 40-Year Old Virgin (and maybe Superbad) to find something amongst that talent that I have little problem rewatching.
