"The studio is teaming with Marza Animation Planet, a CG animation film-production company based in Japan and a division of the Sega Sammy Group, to make a hybrid CG-animated/live-action feature."

The only thing that could make this worse is if they had a guy in a Sonic suit. Oh wait, better not give them any ideas.
How the *expletive* is this going to work? This isn't *expletive* Godzilla, you dolts! How would you mix CGI of a cartoon-like animated video game series with live action? Makes no sense at all.
Reviews in the pipeline:
Choplifter (Master System and SG-1000)
Ys: The Vanished Omens with FM Sound Patch!
They're using the word "Hybrid" to describe something like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". That's very 1980s.
It's going to be a live action film with CGI characters; just like every such film since The Phantom Menace.
I don't see how this would be any different than any other film with anthropomorphic animals.
Has anyone ever heard of these turtles that are teenagers who mutated and are now ninjas?
Whaaaat......?

Hopefully it's on the same level as Troll 2. Oh I hope it is.
So basically this is going to be like the anime shows but with live people and CGI? I bet they'll have knuckles say cuss words for extra tude. I can't wait.
This is just like the Smurf movies that utilized both CGI and live action. Nothing special. This is just Sammy milking the Sonic IP all the way to the bank.
