SNES SNES MIni Internal Fuse Blown?

So i wasnt paying attention and hooked up the wrong cable to my SNES Mini (have a small polarity reverser extension cable that wasnt connected), so basically sent the wrong polarity to the SNES and now it wont power on. I guess the Internal use is blown, is the fuse the little white block infront of the power regulator labeled F1 and 1500 written on it?....

If so where can i get a replacement from in the UK or can a substitute be used? or could it be the 7805 regulator, is that the same type used in the NES system, i have some LM7805CV which are rated at 5v 1.5a would they be ok to use?

    Thanks

Yes that is a fuse, check with a multimeter for continuity to check if is blown or not.

OK, tested the fuse for continuity and im getting no beep from my MM, so the fuse is toast!. Where can i source the same type of fuse, and what type is it...im guessing 1.5a due to the 1500 on the fuse itself?

Could i use a simple inline fuse and just solder a wire to each pad where the original fuse was??...

a bit on the large size i know but would probably server a purpose?

I guess it would serve, but you have plenty of smd fuses on "the bay".

You need more like a Pico fuse. I don' know if console5 ships overseas, but you can find it here:

Im not sure if there is holes in the pcb under the fuse though, so not sure if that type of fuse would work??
