I checked out a couple thrifts on my way to work yesterday and found something at each one.

At the first thrift, I got a Nintendo promo tape titled "Hot Newz 64," which cost me a buck. This tape features previews of Donkey Kong 64 and Jet Force Gemini, and more information and some screenshots can be found here. Even if it's a pretty corny tape, I couldn't pass it up.

At the next thrift, I got my find of the day - a Genesis Power Base Converter, loose for $3.99. Unfortunately, my only Genesis is a model 2, so I'm going to have to get a model 1 - and some SMS games - before I can enjoy this.

I just received T2 The Arcade Game for the Genesis in the mail. Cost $1.50 plus shipping. I got the Menacer last week so I may as well get one of the only games that feature it.

Call Of Duty 2: The Big Red One (XBOX)
    Resident Evil (Gamecube)
    Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requirem (Gamecube)

I'm buying some some games from 'Now there are no limits' at the end of the month and I have my pre-ordered copy of Grand Theft Auto IV: Special Edition (XBOX 360) to look forward too as well. Happy days!

I got a decent haul a few days ago at my local old games store.

    Genesis:
    Animaniacs
    Columns (boxed, complete)
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (doesn't seem to work after cleaning, I'll be taking this one back)
    Dynamite Headdy
    Ecco the Dolphin
Ecco : The Tides of Time
    Lotus II RECS (boxed, complete)
    Rocket Knight Adventures
    Zool

    SNES:
    Pinball Dreams
    Tetris Attack

I think it came out to about $40 for all of it..

Now I can play King of Fighters 94, Baseball Stars 2, Top Hunters, and Magician Lord (on the Wii) the way they were supposed to be played. Feels pretty close in construction to the original AES sticks. Nice and clicky!

1,000 posts seems like a good time to lock this and start 4.0, so I think I shall.
