Yeah it's the same story with everything these days. I have a 92 5.0 Mustang coupe. 15 years ago people wanted them but now they are freaking out over they them. Same with my 66 Lemans. Back then it was neat but not a GTO. Now no one seems to care. They just want to knock on my door and make stupid offers to buy it. If I hadn't got my hands on them earlier I don't think I would have ever had either. It seems like bad taste catches on instantly but it takes years for anything with class to be noticed.
After seeing the pictures that Iron Lizard posted, it just occurred to me that the Toyota MR2 series shared a similar body design to the Pontiac Fiero. That was another bad @55 car back in the day!
Funny enough, I never see either car on the road here in Toronto. What`s up with that?![]()

I want to take that supercharged 4a-gze out of the MR2 and put it in my MG Midget.
Hah! My first car, that is the one I purchased after the hand me down Toyota Corolla, was almost some 80s model Fiero. This one was a little under the weather and my Jaguar/Mercedes Mechanic neighbor told me to go for an '85 Honda Prelude instead. I'm glad I did, mainly because that car went 200k miles for me of Pizza Delivery and helped pay the bills (except Student Loans !$%^%) during college.
Still, that Fiero looks awesome and I always wondered if I would have liked it more for horsepower alone.

The v6 gt fiero only has 170hp or less. My 4 door luxury sedan has 225
