    The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

    Then we set about developing killer games.

    Just working on the road system at the mo so very WIP. Here's another though. Have asked for a few changes from the artist. Still very early and I'll set up a proper thread when I've hit 50 posts

    Mega Cheril Perils and Mega Mindtris are ready for pre-order via Verkami. Mega Cheril Perils was developed by Mojon Twins! and Mega Mindtris was developed by Leander. Both games will be published by 1985 Alternativo...

    I can't believe that one of the most awaited games for Mega Drive / Genesis is finally here, nor that it stars one of the most beloved characters of the retroscene.

    Almost as much as I can't believe that I haven't heard of either before!

    I'm getting a maintenance error message at the FaseBonus store. Anybody experiencing the same thing?

    Does anyone know if Germ Squashers (Sega Genesis) version use new parts or recycled Genesis carts/boxes? Anyone have images? I'd like to know before I shell out the $95 asking price to obtain.

    Same question for Ascii Wars. Also, does it come with a manual?

    ASCII Wars doesn't include a manual but Germ Squashers does it (now). The carts don't seem to be new ones. They look pretty recycled.

    We will be releasing a new Version of Sumo Slam game for Genesis.

    Will be two physical versions; Special Edition (which would be limited) with Clam Shell, special artwork, Instruction Manual, Poster and Game; and a Regular Edition with Developer submitted artwork an instruction sheet , clamshell and game cart.

    Will be available for pre-order on our new wave of game releases available this year =D
