Pretty cool how it was made entirely out of broken consoles.
I have been working on an adapter to play game gear games on my master system. I know the colors will be screwed up, but I think it might be possible if I wire the correct pins of a game gear cartridge slot to a master system cartridge. It might be interesting to try out.

LukeMorse is a cool guy.
He's been doing these types of mods and showing how to fix consoles, etc.. for many years.
Definitely worth a sub if you like that sort of stuff.

Yeah, with the gg to tv board sms mode outputs full screen in 240p while Game Gear mode is windowed due to the lower resolution. I just used the same board to install a replacement screen into a Game Gear, effectively turning it into an awesome portable Master System.

I remember reading on smspower that there was one pin or something, that if connected would result in SMS games output full screen, and if left unconnected would output SMS games in the same way that you see them on a GG screen.

Yes, but I don't think that applies to tv out, it would downscale sms to the gg's resolution, not upscale gg games to the sms resolution.

With the proper mod, the GGTV board will output sms full screen, but not GG.

That's what I meant -- the mod, if done one way, would keep SMS games at the downscaled resolution (and in the border) on the TV.
