This is where the game shines IMO. The Venom sprite and animations, for example, are truly awesomely designed.

Another thing is what happened with Separation Anxiety in this regard. Uncomprensible graphical downgrade.

The Red cart. It's more rare and expensive to find it on eBay. It costs from a range of $15-$25 CIB Red cart. I'm still looking for one.

The regular cart. The first runs of the SNES & Genesis MC were red carts. They planned to do a second run of regular-colored carts, but the game bombed in sales and there were still plenty of red carts around, so the few regular carts that were produced are uncommon.

I never really felt like I was controlling Spider-Man in this game (as opposed to the Spider-Man vs. Kingpin game). I'm thinking, I'm Spider-Man, why do I have to walk? I wish his webbing was utilized more. If Acclaim was creative, they would have done most of the game with Spider-Man swinging through the air beating people up instead of walking on the ground.

I remember when my friend got it for his B-Day almost a decade and a half ago. I was surprised when he showed me it because the cart was all red.

I heard it got mixed reviews.

I recently borrowed this game from a friend. It was alright, but I have no intention of buying it anytime soon. Never played Separation Anxiety though.

Don't bother, it's a typical watered down SNES port: bad sound, bad graphics, and the gameplay is pretty crap too.

Separation Anxiety is crap no matter which system you play it on. So damn boring and repetitive.

I'll be sure to stay away from Separation Anxiety, unless I can get it really cheap.

I actually own and enjoy Separation Anxiety on the SNES. It's fun to play with a friend, but it can get boring by yourself. I haven't played the Genesis version.

I always enjoy Maximum Carnage... Then again, I was a Spider-man addict when I was a kid. Yeah, the graphics aren't the best, but it's still fun to play!
