As much as I'd like to oblige you, I'd say just peek at NG.com or some other random forums with Master Taskue in the search. At one point he made it clear he had actual real feelings for an anime character. No I mean it, he made it a point to annouce it seriously. He's also made it a point he "respects" them very much. Case in point someone posted a stupid image of some underwear with some anime chicks on it.

I completely agree here with BonusKun, the collective modding staff here at Sega-16 can be too lenient at times, lines must be drawn. If most (if not all) of the civil and rule abiding users who have been here for years all dislike a particular user for his clearly disgusting and disturbing posts, why can't action be taken? If you want, send him a few warnings to cut it out and stop creeping everyone out. But if he doesn't abide, that means a ban is in order. That's usually how it's supposed to work.

If you dislike Tasuke, just block him. I like his posts. Why should I not be able to read something just because you dislike it?

That's strange, the way I though it was supposed to work is that boards have known rules. People break those rules, then there are consequences. Banning a member because some people don't happen to like what they are saying or have said on other boards, when no rules are being broken, is deeply problematic. What I find more disturbing is when some people troll that member's threads and post comments that look akin to bullying. On a really strict board I dare say a couple of members would have been banned for remarks in this thread, and the OP isn't one of them.

The guy collects anime figures and posts about them, so what? He posts on multiple boards, again so what? This is its own board, why should what is posted in any other have any bearing here? He's made 17 threads here in three and a half years, not exactly massive spamming is it? Why is it so hard for people to just stay out of threads that don't interest them?

The same reason that you take a monkey out of its social group, paint it bright pink, and put it back, the other monkeys will immediately tear it to shreds. Or the reason the kids in Lord of the Flies eventually ended up chanting "Kill the pig!" and slaughtering their own, or that cultures since time immemorial have enjoyed human sacrifice and giving into mob mentality.

There's a part of all our brains that wants to destroy difference, and many of us find pleasure and comfort in that destruction: today, it's him and not me. Some people give in to it out of fear, because they have skeletons in their closet and are terrified the tribe will find out. Others, out of sadism and sheer pleasure in shit-stirring and destructiveness.

And after all, it's not a big secret that there are a fair number of posters on Sega-16 who don't really give two shits about Sega or video games, and are mainly here to spark forum drama and start fights, because it gets them off (maybe sexually, for all I know? People are weird). So they want this thread to turn into a clusterfuck, for entertainment's sake.

To be completely blunt, if I had daughters, I'd probably feel safer letting them hang out with Tasuke than with some of the creepy, date-rapey, obvious-anger-issues dudes who have graced this forum. I'm not saying I'm terribly keen on Tasuke's interests, but hey, whatever gets him through the day is fine with me as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

Let's reserve the pitchforks and torches for people who actually act like assholes. It's not like there's a shortage of that around here lately. But of course it's easier to pick on someone who's unlikely to hit back, as every Internet hard man knows.

I think everyone knows this but even so there's always a line you should draw on just how some people act on forums. Look Melf knows me well enough that I don't really go out looking to troll people. It's just when people like this spam weird crap like this on a forum that yes I'll agree is in an offtopic section there's a point you gotta go. "Ok this is reaching a little too far into wtf territory."
