Model 2 Mods/Repairs?

I know theres a list of upgrades for the model 1s, but is there anyone dedicated to modding/repairing Model 2s at all? If so, what all is upgradeable on the Gen 2s? Just curious...thanks! -Ben

S video mods are possible on every model 2 that has a Sony CXA 1645 or 1145 video encoder, which is most of them. 1645's are easier to mod, however.

You can also upgrade the audio to mega-amp quality. It sounds incredible!

Model 2's generally can be overclocked, but results are hit-and-miss. (Glitches freezes, lower overclock capability etc.)

Model 2's can be region modded, but I don't know a lot about that.

Anyone on the board who is dedicated to these mods? Ive heard of overclocking, but have heard the same on the results :/ Ive got a spare model 2 that would love to be modded -Ben

There's a few of us here. Just depends on who you want to do your work. I'm finishing up about 6 different systems that I need to roll out soon, so I have about a 2-4 week lead time. Not sure about anyone else.

My personal favorite mods are the Mega Amp and Neptunizing it. Video mods are kinda meh, the system outputs an excellent RGB image so you should really use it if possible.
