Looks interesting, but do I need to download an emulator to play it?
If I do, I don't think I'll bother.![]()
Yes, you will need an emulator, a patch program, the patch and the ROM. I tried it and didn't like it. I hear those text adventures were released on the Mega CD in Japan (yeah, the games had so much MEGA POWER they needed a whole CD to store those games!)

I think if I tried to download all that stuff my computer (8 years old, still has dial-up) would explode.![]()
All of it could probably fit on an old floppy diskette (1.44 MB).

My computer is so amazingly awful that it would have a hard time downloading even that (not to mention the inevitable disconnects).![]()
I should probably get a new computer.![]()
It's not lost... it's been on the Game no Kan discs since 1994. They where just repackaging of the Phantasy Star 2 text adventures and Seganet games.
Roms and ISO's have existed for a long time, but not translated. Hopefully the other games will be translated soon.

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

Yeah, what Davey said. I actually have a couple of the Game Can CDs and they each have a bunch of PS2 text adventures on it (one for each of the main characters). They suck ass.
Just like the original PS II imho.Originally Posted by Joe Redifer
