Whoa I just scored probably the best SEGA listing this year off eBay

I still can't believe what I just got here. So a few days ago, I was on eBay checking for any new Sega Genesis games that were listed and might be interested in. The first thing on top of the eBay listings, I see a SEGA CD JVC X'EYE with a BIN of $40. I didn't even hesitate to read the description if it was broken or not because even a broken X'EYE can still be pretty damn valuable and the picture, it showed the cables and an official X'EYE controller.

I ran to my brother because I was a few dollars short and yelled at him, "Bro! I need to borrow $65 right now, I'll pay you back in 2 days!!" He knows I pay back and don't ever really ask him for money so he thankfully agreed. I thankfully got through the whole buying process with a huge smile in my face but then I went back to the listing to check out the rest of the pictures. It wasn't just an X'EYE he/she was selling...
He/She was also including a fucking boxed 32X, Sega CD games. Sega Genesis and a few other stuff.

In my mind I was thinking, "OK, DID I JUST REALLY PAY $65 FOR ALL THIS???"

I thought at first that this possibly a listing error or a scam by someone who needed money quick. I was crossing my fingers hoping he/she wouldn't refund me saying that it was an error or some jackass back-doored me but amazingly no messages like that were sent and the seller later mark the listing as 'shipped'.

As I was waiting for this package I was thinking that they are probably going to just sent pictures of the items or there was going to be rocks inside. I mean 2 things happended that made me believe this was possibly legit. The package arrived after 3

    1. This was the only thing the seller was selling and in the pictures. The back of the pictures looked like an empty house and may have wanted to selling things they weren't taken with them.
2.They shipped it without any questions or refunding me back.
3.I got a slip in my inbox saying that a package was waiting for me in the office.

So I take it home and made 3 videos of the unboxing.

This 1st part has me opening it without knowing what may have really been in there.

This 2nd part has me showing piece by piece what I got.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRZg...Fs3MWR5fjPgtog
This last part has me getting ready to see an X'EYE for the first time in person.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7GG...Fs3MWR5fjPgtog

So as you saw in those videos, not only was the package legit, it came with much more! The most amazing thing is that the X'EYE that I thought was just the system and cables was fucking BOXED!

I now have doubles for games like Splatterhouse 3 and Sonic complete. :P

This is the invoice sheet that was inside the X'EYE box.

So yes guys, it's 2015 and deals like this are still out there, SURPRISINGLY still in places like eBay off all things, haha.
I'm still pretty shaky to have come across this but yeah this is just insane for me.

    Thanks for reading!

    Awesome and congrats!

This reminds me of a friend who scored a brand new Wondermega for $45 shipped.

    WOW!!!! Congrats!
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

Well, looking at their feedback, they don't sell too much (or buy for that matter). It's a classic case of "they had no idea what it was worth, and didn't bother looking." They just wanted a quick buck. It's also a prime example of how you should always research everything you sell or buy.

I see you also nabbed it a mere 7 minutes after it was posted. I've scored a few amazing BINs that fast too. It almost feels like stealing... almost.

You guys think it's worth modding s-video to it or just leave it alone?

I actually don't know because for one, at this point I can tell the difference between composite and s-video but I also know this system is a bit rare to come by. It's in great condition, all stickers are fully there.

ehh it's your system, i forget if it does RGB? but as long as you get a good modder & that's the best signal you're gonna get/want i say go for it; genesis composite is pretty bad sometimes and that beauty should be seen in a better signal.

Since you have complete doubles now, you should pay it forward and sell them cheap to the community.

Hehe! I saw your video this morning and was quite surprised to see that you snagged such a good deal on ebay! I was grinning to myself after I saw you pull each item out of the box! Congratulations!
