It was an ironic joke. Ofcourse I know about it, but that was first a few years ago when I started playing Mega Drive again. The reason why is that it was never released here (Sweden), so I can hardly give it any respect if I didn't even get a chance to know it. And it is a little late for that now, when it is so expensive and too troublesome to know a "new" system for me that is so obscure.

AFAIK, it was released in United Kingdom and Spain, but lost support quickly.

    Some of my SNES favorites:

U.N. Squadron - A great horizontal shooter based on the awesome anime Area 88. I love the fact the game doesn't slowdown as much as other early SNES shooters, and that the graphics look pretty much like the arcade game. The controls are just as tight as the arcade version as well.

Super Punch-Out - the game play is based on the arcade version instead of the weird NES version (no rounds). I love the cast of characters you fight against (an old man with a kane and a kabuki actor, LOL), and the way graphics are so eye-bleeding colorful for a boxing game.

Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts - While I still prefer Ghouls 'n Ghosts over this one any day, this one still ain't bad. I like the double jump, and the new weapons are okay. The graphics and soundtrack are tight as well. Man, I miss shooting up/down though...

Goemon/Mystical Ninja series - Amazing graphics, sound, and game play from the once brilliant programmers at Konami. Grab yourself a FAQ and enjoy some of the best platforming on the SNES/SF.

Metal Warriors, a mech run n'gun/platformer. The missions were okay, but multiplayer was where the game truly shined.

Some of my favorite platformers are on the SNES. Kirby Super Star, Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island...

Some of my favorite RPGs are too. Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI, Harvest Moon, Breath of Fire I and II, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past...

    Good stuff.

i'm not much into snes but out of the snes and sfc games i've played. I think some of my faves would be:

    kirby super star
    kirby's dream course
    megaman x
    megaman x2
    megaman x3
    megaman 7
    super mario rpg
    super mario all stars
    final fight 2
    final fight 3
    rival turf
    v gundam
    the ninja warriors
    tmnt: turtles in time
    go go ackman 3
    dragon ball z 3
    ganbare goemon 2
    ganbare goemon 4

and probly a few more that I can't think of at the moment, I haven't really played many super nes games in general and thats probly about half of the games I played right there. out of all of those games kirby super star got the most use in the mid to late 90s.

I once saw Castlevania IV at a flea market for $25 and I thought it was an outrageous price. Is it?

I would imagine so. It can be picked up on ebay for less than $10. I suppose it depends whether or not it was just the cart or with the box and manual, obviously the crappy cardboard SNES boxes make them more valuable.

I just have to tell you guys about the awesome buy I just got today. I seen two copies of Secret of Mana for $8 dollars each at the hole in the wall store in my town and bought them, and luckily they both work! I plan on selling one of them on ebay eventually.

What do you mean by loose? Do you mean does the cartridge rattle or something?
