Hehe, awesome security system. AKA the 'reach for my game, pull back a bloody stump' setup. And very tight tate-d CRT you have there, Iron.

I had to try out like 3 tvs until I found one that wouldn't turn purple when turned on its side. It was worth it though I nothing like playing a vertical shooter the way it is meant to be played. With Dreamcast, Saturn and Mame with a tv out there are many to play.

And yes I love my Fatal Fury hat. My brother was kind enough to let me have his. Now if I could only get his life size cardboard Shenmue stand up from him.

Old Zeus does the trick I think. We found him as a starving puppy eating garbage. Yeah he does the trick in my god awful neighborhood full of drunks, annoying college kids (also mostly drunk but at least they wont break into my house), people down on their luck, and many incarnations of scum. He also is becoming quite famous thanks to newspaper photographers who keep coming to the dog park we frequent.

Heh, well that is a pretty funny pic of the dog. Where did you get that hat, though?

My brother picked it up somewhere. One of our close friends made a few trips to Japan it may have come back with him then. Its the same place I got my mini G.I.Joe sized Sega Saturn from. He used to have a crazy good collection of import and U.S. Saturn and Dreamcast games. He go rid of lot of good stuff though still has his Panzer Dragoon Saga and the best of his stuff.

It must be nice to have a family and a house that supports your gaming hobby.

Here's the main room, taken a few months ago. It's a little messier now, and I added a 360 (along with some more games, and the second Gamecube has been moved).

Consoles: NES, SMS, SNES, Genesis + Sega CD (both model 1), Saturn, PS1, N64, Dreamcast, PS2 (not in picture), Gamecube, Xbox360, PS3.

    More pictures here.

And this is in another room:

    - I'm going to need money a lot in the future.

That's why I don't have an XBox or DS or PS2. I have a Genesis because I like it, the games are great, they're cheap, and I can have fun with them without having to invest a great deal of time.
    your absolutly right

    im with you

there are more things in life then only playing games go out in the world and explore it yourself not in a fantasie created world

Here's one shot of (most) of my stuff. I've got a 36" VGA monitor with all my stuff piped through a Viewsonic NextVision N6 upscan converter. You can't see it really, but all my carts are in a Rubbermaid drawer cabinet thingy off to the left-hand side.

Thanks, Parker. I put a lot of work into renovating the garage and turning it into my game room. That's just the console side of the room. The other side has my PC workstation and my Transformer collection.

Awesome set up. I'm glad in not the only one with a transformers collection here.Do you need the rest of those Transformers bedsheets? I have a set.

Thanks, but I have the full set of sheets. My wife actually took one of them and handmade a quilt out of it. You can't see it in the pics of my room, but it's usually folded on the back of the couch that faces my gaming area. Here are some more pics...I haven't shared these in any public forum section before:

Generation 1 Case, Beast Wars/Machines Case, and shelves with boxed items:

Ceiling drop we built to hide garage door opener, with carded items hanging:

PC area with a few TF items around:

Giant case my father-in-law helped me build, full of more modern TFs from various series:
