    I saw that post and thought maybe they were connected. So is this website just selling DS backlights? I'm just a little worried the 5 leds won't be diffused enough. Either way, it's gonna be better than the original light.

    ah woops, I didnt see the last pic. Its different than a DS actually. Though judging from the pics, its not bright enough. You can tell they have the contrast turned WAY up to compensate for the poor backlighting, thus the image looks real washed out.
    I think a DSi screen is the way to go. The mod is a pain though..be prepared.
