Anyone got any opinions on this? My first was the GP2X Wiz which I still use. I was disappointed by the quality of emulation on PSP after I finally softmodded it recently. Big screen and more meat in terms of processing power, but I always wondered at the bugs and lack of support for games like Landstalker in the PSP port of PicoDrive. Well, the author of PicoDrive says on his website that he is a GP2X owner and optimized the emulator for the devices, hence why the emulator works miles better on GP2X devices than PSP (he noted there were differences in the code that lead to weaker performance). That is why GP2X's version is v1.80 while PSP's is v1.51.
The other option I'm interested in is GCW Zero but I hear the pad is not well made. Pandora is too expensive for an emulator device. Dingoo seems tempting if it wasn't for the fact that it is a seedy chinese product that has no concern in the unauthorized use and profit from the included software. I really don't want to have to use a tablet. Any other suggestions? My next option would be Dingoo because of the higher userbase but like I said, I'm still skeptical about their practices and don't see much reason to upgrade from the Wiz. I mostly use it for Genesis emulation and misc. other stuff.
