Default SSG: Solid State Gamer (Great Youtube Channel)

    Hi!

I found this channel today and it seems very interesting. Nothing flashy or overproduced, quite the opposite; but the "Quick Look" videos I've seem - which usually range from 25 to 60 minutes - are very informative, pleasant to watch and they actually dive into the games unlike most of the super duper famous Youtube channels' "reviews". Oh and it seems to use real hardware all the time, which is really cool, many times featuring not-so-common games and consoles.

I was especially thrilled by the Alien Resurrection (PS1) coverage because I've always felt like the game was criminally overlooked and the owner of this channel seems to have the same opinion while giving it the proper coverage it never had on YouTube.

The earlier videos didn't have a very good sound quality but the recent ones a totally fine IMO. Anyway, a channel which chose Zero Tolerance to start deserves some extra credit.

I'll keep posting the most interesting updates in this thread so we can discuss and dive into those games as well. Hope you enjoy!

I've been watching his vids for a while, he's pretty good. The way he talks reminds me of Cr1TiKaL, its obviously not the same guy but does anyone else think they sound similar?

    Nice channel!

I was fortunate enough to get a PAL copy of that Deep Fear game before the prices on it went spiraling upwards.
I'm a Resi Evil fan so I kinda knew what to expect going in.
I haven't played it all the way to completion, though. My saves got lost/erased.
What I did play of it was fun. Cheesy but fun. Reckon I'll go and revisit it.

I was listening to the Fade to Black episode while working and it was very interesting and informative.
Jon Rivera always brings some interesting new points for future discussions.
