    Best thing to do now is for someone to keep a Sega Mega Drive on for 30 YEARS! The only question is which game should be sacrifice to not be pull out till then.

    I don't buy it. Power interruptions here at least a dozen times per year.

    Maybe it's hooked to a fission reactor

    If our universe is a simulation, I can't imagine the power source used to keep it online, but maybe we don't "feel" it if it blacks out. Of course if it were truly a hologram with us as projections, that'd save on bandwidth. Press Start to unleash Kardashian scum on the hapless simulacra.
