All controller prices are absurd. Except maybe Microsoft since they put some effort and quality into their controllers. So what's the story with that DS4 touchpad, is the extra price for it and cutting corners for where it matters worth it, or is it another forgotten gimmick?
The DS4 touchpad is beyond worthless, serving as little more than two extra buttons most of the time. The DS4 itself is substantially nicer than Dual Shocks 1-3, but that's not saying much.
I'll take Xbox controllers over Playstation controllers any day, including the original Xbox ones. Playstation controllers just aren't very good.
The XB1 controller is freaking incredible. Just feels perfect in my hands like it's an extension of me, and I love the sensitive hair triggers. Now when i go back and play the 360, I can't get over how heavy it is and how unintuitive and awkward that big battery compartment is on the back. It's like a big goiter or cancerous tumor smack in the middle of the back of the controller. What were they thinking with that? My ideal controller would be the XB1 design, but with 6 face buttons instead of 4. Do away with the bumpers and make them actual face buttons.
The PS DS4 controller is ok I guess, but I'm not crazy about the more perpendicular wings in comparison to the DS3 design. It makes my hands feel more cramped over time, latgely due to the close proximity of the directional sticks.
I agree. That's the one item I find way overpriced over the rest. The pro controller, I find it could go for $10 less, but I don't think it's hugely overpriced. TBH, the PS4 and Xbox One controllers went for $70. Even now they're still selling for $65 outside when they're not on sale. I guarantee those pro controllers will go down by the Holidays. Right on time when Nintendo starts selling Switch bundles.
Reggie has already basically mentioned that the sole purpose of the dock is, indeed, so that the Switch doesn't fall forward and crack while you're playing it on your TV. He believes that, very soon, third party accessories will be released so that you won't need the dock; making it truly portable and much more dynamic. He also stated thay Nintendo prefers you use first party accessories so that you refrain from breaking your Switch.
Around here, you say "West Midlands", and all it sounds like is a general region on planet Earth. Sorry, was I supposed to know it was a county?![]()

I get video game burnout from time to time, this month is one of those times (save for WWE 2k17, still playing that), by April or so or whenever i've sized down my collection to satisify myself i'll pick it back up but i've played a few new games recently since I don't do retro much anymore and a lot of them have left me wondering why I paid full price for them in the first place. I barely have any free time to keep playing new shit and the cost adds up. It's annoying.
Also West Midlands isn't totally obvious, that could be anywhere really.
My videogame burnout aren't that frequent, considering I can binge pretty hard on them sometimes with a lot of free time on my hand too. But hard as I can binge on games, I barely play any new games compared to how much I replay games I really enjoy. Like right now, it feels like I've been eating, sleeping and breathing Dark Souls games for past month. And I've already replayed and put in countless hours into this series.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

What do you do for a living that allows you enought free time to binge on games? And why don't you spend your free time doing something more constructive? For Christ's sake, Canada has some of the most pristine wilderness on the planet, why are you not taking advantage of it?
What do you do for a living to be so miserable.
Stop deflecting and answer my question. I'm about as miserable as some one who barely plays video games should be. So, why don't you answer my question about your work status? Or are you an on the dole loving dipshit as most sensible people would believe you to be. Come on, prove me wrong, what do you do for a living? I'm a small business owner myself, or don't you have the balls you half-tard Canadian fuk-wit?
Why are you even posting in this thread if you're so convinced that it's impossible to set aside for somebody to spare time for gaming?
And some people just don't like going out. I bet somebody could complain that spending time in the wilderness is just as unproductive when you could be doing something else like building stuff or the like. The argument can go for just about anything done for leisure.
