The new PS4 game is definitely a tribute to the original. I'm looking forward to its January 2016 release.

The new game absolutely fails as a tribute to Shadow of the Beast. Shadow of the Beast was a shit game that sold itself on its cutting edge graphics and strange atmosphere.
The new game doesn't have cutting edge graphics or any atmosphere, seems like a dumb hack 'n' slash type of game.
Might be good though who knows. It's not like Shadow of the Beast was good to begin with.
