The first time I played Fallout 3 I walked into Megaton City and the sheriff fell out of the sky in front of me and died.

^ That's a cool story.
I rembered today:
In uniracers for Snes you cannot insert the name "Sonic".
"I wanted to create something that the Famicom wouldn’t have been able to do..." (Kotaro Hayashida)
Wii is dying. Last game Just Dance 2020. Thanks for all!
Just about a week ago:
Powering my Mega Drive with Sonic 3d, than my tv and...behold! Secret blue screen of level select!??
"Congratulations, you have found the secret level select screen"
My son was with the controller, I did not even remember that, I hadn´t played the game for nearly 20 years...
Then I read this at Sonic Retro:
Cheat Codes, All Versions
Sega Genesis version
S3D level select.png
Level select: To access level select, press B A Right A C Up Down and A (Baracuda) on the title screen. After entering this cheat, you may skip levels by pressing Start + A during gameplay. Skipping a level while in a special stage will reward you the emerald without even having to play the level. Alternately, level select can be unlocked by beating the game once or tapping the side of the cartridge.

^ I remember as a kid accidentally unlocking the debug code in Sonic 1 before I even knew about it. It was like the coolest secret I have ever seen. Kept the game on for a long time because I was afraid it would be gone after and I wouldn't be able to figure out how to replicate it afterwards. Which of course, sadly, I was right about.
Wasn't till later that I spotted a debug code for Sonic 3 in GamePro and I was like; "Wow, just like that incident with Sonic 1. So it is a code and not a glitch. Yes, that must mean it can be replicated." Because that debug mode in Sonic 1 was so far out, that I almost thought I glitched out the game some how.
Yeah, back then we had no internet magic, so videogame mags were the thing, it was in a magazine that I "discovered" the sonic1 level select and debug mode
I still remember my very first videogame magazine, it was brazilian "Supergame" from 1992, can´t remember the month right now, It had quackshot on the cover.
I can tell it really was "bizarre" having cheats in the very same magazine that involved taking out the cart with the console on...
