Mark III Scart Cable - same as Master System / Mega Drive 1 ?

Just a quick question, I've recently purchased a Sega Mark III, I was wondering (hoping) if a Master System or Mega Drive Mark 1 Scart cable is the same fit ? I'm based in the UK.

It is the same, but Mark IIIs need a mod to output a decent RGB signal.

Any picture would be an improvement over the Mark II I had which was NTSC RF only, couldn't get a picture out of it at all.

So what picture quality we talking here ? RF quality or better / worse ?

Depends who you ask. My Mark III SMS outputs a signal that my component transcoder can't use. Others have posted here that they get something kind of like a sharp composite picture.
