Well, whatever. My friends who own PS4s love them for what it's worth. I only know one person with an Xbone and he seems ok with it.

Can anyone recommend any Xbox 360 games that were regardedly ignorant?
The 360 became the home of retail shmups for the last generation. PS3 didn't fair well at all, with only a few ports to make do with. If you're into 'em, there's a fair few that were either given a western release or are region free.
Cave ported almost their entire arcade back catalogue to the machine, including unusual stuff like the Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets double pack. There's a more than decent showing from other companies as well though, Eschatos, Bullet Soul Infinite Burst, Ginga Force, Raiden Fighters Aces are all highly recommended if you're a fan of the genre.
There was a backlash by the PC community against Crytek, because of how they had handled support for their previous games. Crysis 2 was a disaster on the PC for several months, because Crytek decided to add DX11 support for the game with a patch. The problem with the patch was, that the game didn't just tessellate objects you could see on screen; it also tessellated the water beneath floating islands causing performance issues for gamers with lesser DX11 cards. And how did the PC community react to that? They made Crysis 2 the most pirated game on PC for 2011.

Crysis 3 was not a big seller on any of the platforms. Crytek tried to appeal to the PC audience by giving them a game that was truly optimized for the platform, but the damage from the shitty handling of Crysis 2 had pretty much turned the PC audience away from giving Crytek their money. I'm pretty sure that most of the PC benchmarks you see on Youtube, are pirated versions of the game.Originally Posted by pcgamer

Still, a PS3 gamer would be better off buying the Resistance games, as well as Killzone 3. They are better games than Crysis 3, which is pretty much a glorified tech demo for PC gamers.Originally Posted by dsogaming
I think that you'll find that the numbers can be a bit misleading, because from 2006-2009 the 360 was the lead platform for game development. Once the PS3 started getting more titles that were created for the PS3 first, the differences became less negligible. It's like when the original Xbox had a lot of titles that were merely ports of PS2 games; they really didn't look all that much better on the Xbox and there were often performance issues because of the differences in the hardware.I've said most games are better on 360 VS PS3. Not all.
It was better on the 360 for quite some time, but that had a lot to do with MS having an (subscription) online service in place since the original Xbox. PSN was a pretty shitty service for several years, but I'd say that it has pretty much caught up with the offerings of LIVE in the past 4 or 5 years.But online gaming environment is much better on 360 then PS3 and maybe even PC (since most don't seen to have headsets for chat on PC). You're also at a disadvantage on PC if you prefer to play shooters and such with a gamepad, since most of PC play with mouse and key and therefore aim faster and have a much easier time aiming.
I really don't care about a multiplayer game that was pretty much slapped onto a game that was meant to be played as a single player experience. Yeah, most of my online gaming in the past was on the original Xbox and the Xbox 360. Still, I don't find online gaming to be quite as appealing to me, as I did back than. I can tell by just looking at the video you had posted of MME3 multiplayer, that I would have zero interest in it. It looked pretty bad to me.And you should care about ME3mp. It's one of the best games I've and many others have ever played. Otherwise many of us wouldn't have over 2000hrs in it. Certainly players on PS3 who's discovered the awesomeness of ME3mp sure wish they didn't have to deal with all the headaches they have to deal with. A lot of people have to suffer with ME3mp on PS3 because choose the wrong console, and for some reason they can't play it on PC. You keep bringing PC up all the time, but PC versions doesn't seem to be an option for many. And after all, many invest in a console so they could play on a console, not on PC and use the console of a footstool. ie. I have access to all version of ME3mp, and my preferred version is still the 360.
My online gaming has pretty much been the following: Star Wars: Galaxies (PC), Alien Front Online (DC), Daytona USA (DC), PSO (DC), NFL2K1 (DC), Battlefield 2 (Xbox), SW: Battlefront (Xbox), SW: Battlefront 2 (Xbox),COD 3 (Xbox) Burnout: The Revenge (Xbox), MGS3: Snake Eater (PS2), PSO: Universe (PS2), COD: Modern Warfare (360), COD: MW2(360), COD: World at War (360), COD: MW3 (360), Resistance 2 (PS3), Warhawk (PS3), Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (360), SW: The old Republic (PC), COD: Black Ops (360), COD: Black Ops II (360), GTA IV (360), Battlefront 3 (PC), Battlefront 4 (PC) and SW: Battlefront (PC). I'm kind of burned out with online gaming, so much so, that I have never even attempted to play GTA V online.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Ditto for Resistance, Resistance 2 is a dud but 3 is awesome.
Killzone is eh... I guess? I'd much rather play Crysis 2 than Killzone 2 or 3.
I like Killzone 3 more. Killzone 2 was kind of meh, but it's still a better game than the original Crysis. Crysis Warhead is probably my favorite in the Crysis series.
I really liked Resistance 2, it had pretty good online multiplayer. I thought that the 1st title was just okay. I need to get around to playing Resistance 3; it's been sitting in my pile of shame for about 6 months.

No party or private chat (private chat is only way to chat in Dark Souls 1); no being able to send vocie chat msgs; PS home menu navigation too slow for text chat (among the BS that cancel "O" button doesn't exit out of Home menu like on X-Box is another annoyance when in a hurry while playing an online/unpausable match, or especially with DS4 which I use and requires a second DS3 for functional PS Home button); text party chat on PS3 leads to memory leak; having to many messages contributes to loss of frames/faster memory leak; more player with voice chat headsets on X-Box then PS3 and PC; etc.
So yeah, don't tell lies that it caught up when it clearly hasn't and still terribly outdated by X-Box 360 standards. The only issue with X-Box 360 online gaming for me was seeing certain friends not always renew their Gold memberships right away. That's it.
Yeah, well this multiplayer that was pretty much slapped onto a game seems to be much better then pure dedicated multiplayer games. On the ME3mp forums, it's a running joke everytime the next new big online game comes on, and somebody would start the topic like "Destiny is here, ME3mp is over!" Joke threads, because threads like that always come up, then everybody eventually realizes they're mediocre or suck within a week or month. Even ME3mp players on forum who play and played the recent Battlefront say it's fine for a bit, but doesn't have the lasting value at all and doesn't touch ME3mp. So yeah, 4 years later and ME3mp is still surviving better then any other ME3mp. A testament to how awesome and popular it is. That and all 5 of it's DLCs are free, meaning the player base isn't separated by what DLCs they have or not.
The really cool thing about this game is all the many ways to play this game. It doesn't have to be just shooting. You could play with one of many powers and power combos alone. Or just running around headbutting and backhanding everything in sight with a melee focus build. And tanking it up with the Geth Juggernaut that can't run. Or more of a support role as the Volus with their team shield boost power, tac cloak, and two drone that draws enemy agro. No to mention the many different behaving weapons and how you assign your character powers.
In all honesty. ME3mp was one of the best flukes every. And I because of that I stongly fear lightening won't strike twice and that the next MEmp won't live up to the magic that was ME3mp. So enjoy it while you guys can. I know I am.
But know this. A lot of things were discovered form this game. Fans tested and datamined everything is this game, and there are quite a few things that aren't apparent from the start. Like how shield gate, armour dmg reduction and such work. The fact that all projectile weapons don't suffer armour dmg reduction so they don't need armour pierce mod/ammo (only hit scan weapons need them to be effective against armour). etc. So I stongly suggest you guys all check out the resource thread stickied on the BioWare ME3mp forum.

Perhaps. I've never had the problem on my PS3 either, though. I leave that plugged in all the time as well. I am using a 3rd party cable though, because the length on the one that came with the system is bullshit.
Not saying it doesn't happen (the existence of the above video is a testament to that, and it's clearly widespread enough that people have found use for them). Are there statistics for percentage though? Is it actually a majority or merely a non-zero amount of reasonable sized percentage?
That because the Dual Shock 3 one is thicker;
Versus the sliver thinness of the Dual Shock 4 one;
Because it's so thin on one side is why it doesn't sit snug at all and always bends toward the side with barely any support because it's so thin.
To really notice it, I'm guessing you have to use the DS4 for PS3 or PC gaming. Because like I've said above, when playing with it on PS4, it most likely switches to wireless each time it disconnects.
Right now on 360 you can get Strider & Ducktales Remastered deals with gold for $4.49 each. Guardian Heroes HD is only $4.99 full price. Awesome games.
The first Resistance title wasn't all that great. I'd put it on-par with the 1st Crysis title.
Resistance 2 is a solid FPS. It was the winner of the best FPS at the E3 show it appeared at. It also received a lot of praise from reviewers and received several nominations during the Game of Year awards shows/articles.

Anyways....Viva La Xbox 360. It's one of the greatest consoles of all-time!Originally Posted by Wikipedia
