The name alone would keep me from listening to any of the reviews of this person. Ya, I'm the guy who won't buy certain products if the commercials are asinine.
The fat girl is, IMO, so over rated and not funny. The movies I've seen her in were saved because of the other actors rather than her.
Interesting thing to quote from that article;
Because I wonder if that's the reason Sony went with such fake cartoony looking CGI ghosts. Which is really sad if true, because it was for nothing without it being released in China and the movie is much worse for it.China's official censorship guidelines technically prohibit movies that "promote cults or superstition" — a holdover from the Communist Party's secular ideology — and the country's regulators occasionally have been known to use this obscure provision as rationale for banning films that feature ghosts or supernatural beings in a semi-realistic way (Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest suffered such a fate in 2006, thanks to its depictions of ghouls and cannibalism).
They probably used the cartoony ghost so that the ghosts aren't a huge departure from the classic. I don't think anyone would want them busting paranormal activity ghosts.
I'm just glad we're finally getting a Ghostbusters with proper progressive values, and positive female role models.
That reminds me, I gotta get the cartoon seasons on dvd.
2 great movies eh.
Ghostbusters 2 really isn't all that great.
Maybe part 2 isn't that great but the music isn't bad. RUN DMC even contributed. Anyway, you couldn't pay me to see this film. The trailers look bad and the "comedy" seems forced.
Ghostbusters 2 isn't bad, it's just kinda meh. I remember watching them both over 2 days and 1 stands head and shoulders above it pretty much.
This felt like a good, honest and fair movie review that I've just seen and most would enjoy to watch;
