Default Die Hard import games ad for Mega CD [RPGs]

Those Japanese-only RPGs; Faria and Isle Lord, sure looked great, were they any good?

Sigh. GameFan was such a kick butt magazine. I can't wait for the day for when they're all scanned.

And yes, Isle Lord does look good. Would like to know more about it too.

I have scans of about 46 issues of Gamefan, would like to find more. The Gamefan spread on Aisle Lord really made me want to play it, maybe I'll get around to it someday.

Cool. Now about sharing the love. I've never been able to find like 15 or so. Though haven't searched more recently since every time I've tried in the past, I always ran across the same ones, which was pretty discouraging. Are there more and easier to find these days?

I used to buy GameFan for the Die Hard ads. Sometimes, it was the best part of the magazine.

love GameFan, even if they steered me wrong on Tail of the Sun in the day, haha
for real, looking back the imports they highlighted often became super expensive cult classics these days

if you're ever wondering why EGM, Game Players (to an extent), Nintendo Power etc are so much easier to find scans of online: former head/known d-bag Dave Halverson has been said to consistently make efforts to keep scans of the classic mag offline, which is pretty shitty i think

I can only put about 21 of them in my drop box due to size but feel free. If there is a specific issue you are interested in let me know and I'll see if I have it.

It took a very long time to put them in the correct page order and there were a few that I missed. I'm just glad to get these out there.

Not there but I would like to know more about the Sega CD port of Illusion City. I know a guy who played the MSX original and say it is really good for a RPG from that period.

I wouldn't trust their translated instructions with there poor proofreading on the ad.

But man I am dying for people to translate some Sega CD rpgs.
