Yes. Unfortunately it said the same thing on the spine : "Wisdom Tree NES Collection".

Also there's some confusing thing about the opening of the manual (on the purple box) :

I really don't know what it means.
But other than that and the still "Wisdom Tree NES Collection" on manual front page, it's pretty good. How to play section is informative and all artworks are in colour :

Well, aren't they straight NES ports? Just like there's a "sega collection" for more recent consoles. That manual placeholder is hilarious though.

There are countless minor errors with the lastest Piko releases:

*Wisdom Tree NES Collection. The text on the box says the title is "Genesis collection", which is inconsistent with the logo.
*Same thing with Clan of Heroes: Generals of the Yang Family - the text says the title is Yang Warrior Family.
*Sumo Slam has its logo on the reversed side on the spine.
*Each spine logo is incorrectly centered.
*Each front side of the insert spells "game" with an upper case G and "Mega Drive" without space between the words.
    *There are typos everywhere.

Water Margin had similar problems. I offered to check stuff like this for free, but to no avail.

Persons in charged of the manual/covers have been fired, I gave them one more chance to do it correctly, as I can't be doing everything, and yes I was disappointed about the minor problems of the games.

In another note, these games aren't major releases with >100 units sold so don't expect us to pay massive amount of attention to them.

Regarding wisdom tree. Actually Wisdom Tree had all NES, Genesis and DOS on one manual.

I've noticed you haven't filled out your survey! fill it out asap!

    @zebbe

I really appreciate your support buying our releases, and appreciate the feedback, but you work for a competing company, that has scoffed at us trying to work together with them (and mistreated the Genesis community). That is the reason why I have not accepted your offer to help out.

Let me know when that changes!

Thanks. Done. I don't know why I always seem to miss these survey prompts on Kickstarter.

BTW, I offer you the same exact help as Zebbe if you will take it, freely of course. I understand where you're coming from, but Zebbester is a good person and I also understand his plight. These minutiae do mount-up in the end.

I didn't know Fonzie had scoffed at you, sorry to hear that. To be honest, my role in WM has been quite minor the last four years. But I respect your decision and am sure QuickSciFi would do the same service just fine. Looking forward to your future releases!

I'm happy to review as well. If you're worried about sharing the docs for repro reasons you could even use a watermarked PDF or run it as a flash applet to obfuscate the files.

Sorry manual guy got canned but it sounds like they need a better attention to detail.

This doesn't inspire a lot of confidence to purchase products as an early adopter. These are pretty bad for paid product.

Good move on letting them go. Hopefully you'll find folks who take pride in their work and have an eye for detail.

Can't say that I agree with this. If you're selling something, quality should be #1, especially as a small company where word-of-mouth is very important. Does this mean that customers that would like corrected versions of merchandise bought and paid for shouldn't bother to ask for it?

I mean there will not be reprints.

"You have to make the back of the fence that people won't see look just as beautiful as the front, just like a great carpenter would make the back of a chest of drawers ... Even though others won't see it, you will know it's there, and that will make you more proud of your design." - Paul Reinhold Jobs

If reprints are expensive (which I'm sure they are), you can always know that stickers over mistakes are a time honored Sega tradition.

Can't speak for all manufacturers, but the ones that I've seen are snapped together like Lego's.
