^same, but again, im getting a gaudy sonic statue & some other stuff, with the game as a bonus i guess. i'd love a switch cart for it though!
Here's a 12 years in the making Sonic fan game, with some S3&K elements and CD's time travel aspect, to hold you over until Mania releases then:

New trailer!!
What trailer?
I'm really looking forward to that flying battery zone style level.
That clip at 0:49 reminds of of music plant from sonic advance 2. That was one of my favorite levels.
The game is only $20 on steam, which is a really tempting price point for me. I'll probably buy it after the reviews come out.

Hah, I noticed that. As long as the level design doesn't deviate too far from the S3&K style and go full Sonic Advance, I think I'll like it. A maze of disconnected platforms is lazy, while overlapping sets of solid "tracks" and paths is neato burrito.
Now I wish I had bought a modern game system instead of a fishing boat. Oh well se la vie! But still looks awesome I may have to buy a switch now n get that sweet pre order lol

^Wish it was though, every sonic fan NEEDS to play. OK well only the PAL or JPN versions, the music in the american version isn't close to being as good (the CD quality music is one of the best parts of that game). Deserves acknowledgement.
