IIRC and it's been a long ass time but Sega sold VC because of the Madden deal. And wow this deal has been going on for 11 years now But NBA 2K ended up being so good that EA basically stopped making basketball games for about 4 years ANd I ask this because I barely know what SOA is doing these days as far as American developed games.

Sega could be in for big bucks if they published the VC NBA games, because they are excellent NBA games.

They still have their toes dipped in the sports games though, Sega publish Football Manager which has a dedicated fanbase.

Sega did throw it back in EA's face by getting the license to MLB.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
