Which is the worst sound made for a game?

The dolphin-screech in the first Ecco the Dolphin is maybe the worst sound ever. He makes it all the time, since it's every time he takes damage. Tides of Time fixes it by having a quiet damage sound effect.

When friends fart at parties, I don't cringe. But laugh merrily with the rest of the guys. When someone brings a crying baby to a party... not cool.
