Poor Show do Milhão 2, almost losing its title.![]()
Looks like they just uploaded a video of the new Mega Drive's construction. Here's the best still I could take of the board:

Such a crap being made in front of my eyes...
Disgusting.
PCB looks neat
BUT from the looks of it, the slot is missing all exotic signals and write strobes. Forget saving your games or any cart that is more complex than a simple mask rom.
TBH, the thing looks like an emulator. Not having HDMI+ output is unnacpetable for HW made in 2017. Even a single person like me is able to do it (and I have done it)
Maybe people are getting hung-up on the steep price, somehow equating it to quality. They forget this is Brazil; where the general rule of thumb is to price video game consoles 5 times higher than in then U.S.
This is a budget gaming console.
I was under the impression Brazillians had moved to PCs because of console prices (also probably related to how many people got angry about Brazillians flooding servers in F2P games on PC, it's what's most accessible at the moment).
Kind of surprised that didn't happen in Argentina but it seems gamers here absolutely hate F2P in any form.

^Lol at Wii U. Might as well put it under "Outros".
So, I'm assuming the Sega Master System and all the rest of retro gaming is under "Outros", then? Boy, did I have the wrong impression as well. It's either that, or only the rich Brazilians took this poll.
The question seems to be which consoles they owned (o_º) Would be nice to see how much PCs are used to play compared to consoles.
No idea, but this reminds me, if you don't have enough disposable money to spend on this stuff, gaming companies won't want to bother with you since you probably aren't worth anything to them (it costs money to them and they'll only care if you may end up giving them more than they have to spend).
Yes. they're curious, nostalgic items (like NES Classic or Atari Flashback are in developed countries) but completely irrelevant in the Brazilian videogames market (the 12th biggest in the world according to newzoo).
We're used to buy our stuff (from food to home appliances to anything you can imagine) using installment payments. People have access to latest technology - but we'll spend the next year (or two) paying for it in monthly parcels.
The new Mega Drive itself can be paid in 10 monthly parcels of 14 US Dollars.
I also think this research is realistic because it shows Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 among the most played consoles (they're very easy to modify to play pirate games). Many people here don't mind to pay a small fortune in hardware as long as the games comes for free.
I would have posted this information if I had it. But there are no offical reports about these sales - and they would be very unrealistic since a GOOD number of current hardware in Brazil are smuggled from other countries (probably that's why no one bother to calculate it). Any report would consider only the insanely expensive official items sold here - but it's common to buy the same stuff for a fraction of their prices in grey market (and also be able pay for it in monthly parcels).
