Default Steel Empire for PC on Steam Greenlight

Some guy sent me a PM asking me to post this. Normally I would ignore such blatant attempts at self promotion without forum participation, but I do like Steel Empire. If anyone cares, here it is.

The game is developed by Japanese Mebius, who also created the 3DS port.

Full disclosure: I work for the publisher of this game. It's pretty damn good (I had opportunity to play the alpha version), so if you want to see it on PC, please help out.

Nice. I like this game (both the Genesis version and the 3DS versions).

Hopefully this will encourage them to lower the price of the e-Shop version. The 3ds game is STILL $30. That is just weird.

I want to buy it, but I have played this game to death on the Genesis/GBA.

Wait, is this just a PC port of the 3DS port? How different was the 3DS port from the DBA port? (I have the import of the GBA game)

edit: This video is a pretty good comparison. Thanks to Nintendo Life. Good golly the GBA ost sounds like garbage...

This got my vote, I loved this game on the Genesis but sadly don't own a 3ds yet so I haven't played the new one. I hope it makes it.

Small update. The 3DS version is on sale for $10 USD till the 4th or 5th of January. Get on this. It's a good port, and still a fantastic freaking game.

It plays incredibly well, (played on a New N3DS XL) and it looks/sounds pretty great. It has 4 difficulty settings (the last is unlocked when you beat it on normal difficulty) it has a training mode (to play any level you want on any difficulty) a save so you can continue between rounds, and the ability to save recording of levels you played. It also has a small list of achievements. I beat it once on normal, I'm going through it again. The game feels really good. Starfish did a great job on the game.
