25% off, not 25 off. It's still in promotion: Just buy any of their other products and you get the guide for 25% off. I was going to get the US DC version anyways, so it was a win-win for me.
For the sake of keeping me sane, can somebody out there confirm the DC(U) version is the American version?
Yes, South American (Uruguay).

Yup. Hope you've brushed up on your Spanish or Portuguese or whatever non-English language they speak down there because you'll need it.
They speak Spanish there. Only Brazil speak Portuguese in South America.

All I know is, at this stage there's a higher chance of me getting the DC copy and guide before "Oh Mummy!". I'm thinking, someone out there is trying to make a point of it or something.![]()
Def gonna pre-order a reprint. Unfortunately it doesnt come with the enhanced cd. I may get 2 copies because once this game becomes even more popular im sure it will be on all modern platforms but I doubt they will continue the mega drive copy as years go by.
By then, there will certainly be no lack of Genesis/MD copies.
Hi!
I recently found the http://www.piersolar.com/piersolar.c...hp?f=28&t=1541 topic. I tried to burn the image (the only link which worked) and my Mega Drive 2 thinks the cd is an audio cd. An 1 hour long audio cd, but it doesn't actually play anything when I hit the play button. It just ticks the seconds forwards, but there is no audio.
My question is, how do I burn this game on a CD for the Mega Drive 2? Did I use a broken iso? I burned it via Img Burn. Perhaps I used too high speed when burning?
EDIT: Nevermind, seems I was ignorant. This is indeed only an audio cd, it still requires the actual cartridge to play!![]()

The CD is not the game. It's meant to sit in the CD tray while you play the game on the cart. The game reads music from the CD while you play.
It may no longer be the `90s, but there is still time for Klax.
Maybe because he thought it was a Mega Drive CD ISO only as he stated and has a MD and MDCD. It's good he burned that, I heard they still ship the old audio cd versions even in this 5th re issue. Why ? Idk. But If I paid for a Pier Solar Cart + Audio CD and found out it wasn't updated audio CD that would suck. IF he has a dreamcast he should buy it or even should buy the MD cart since he has updated audio cd already.
Apparently, another reprint for the Genesis/Mega Drive version of Pier Solar is being considered for later this year (2013). A pre-order option has been made available at http://www.magicalgamefactory.com/ to coincide with the release of the Dreamcast version and Project Y. The problem is, WaterMelon needs an unknown number of pre-orders for a reprint to happen at all.
This is frustrating, as I didn't own Sega systems when Pier Solar was first released. I'd like to be able to play the original on my Genesis setup, then look into the upgraded versions for newer systems. Ebay is not an option.
