That's me.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

No, I am selling some of my own preorders. Right now I do assume that the game is done and will be shipped out this year.

So 50 euro for your eBay 'preorder' vs. 25 euro for a new copy straight from the official site? Unless I've got the conversion wrong, that's quite a scam you're running.
I think €50 is fair considering that the games' sold out for months.

Ah, true that, so it's scalping instead of scamming.
I see it more like "offering an opportunity to buy a rare gem".

At a tidy 200% markup, of course,But no matter; all's fair in the world and congrats on your foresight to grab a few extra copies.
Actually I thought the game would sell out MUCH faster than it did. It ended up being available for what seemed like years and any time when I had a few bucks more than what I needed on my PayPal account I bought a copy or two.![]()
