How did having a pre-order reseller involved with Pier Solar surprise anyone here? Just because this game was a Genesis community effort? There are people who did this sort of thing all the time. (It also didn't surprise me to find Christuserloeser selling pre-orders for profit)

I don't think anyone here is surprised that this is already happening, just expressing their opinions about it.

I'm sorry about that. The guy who handles this is very busy. But I can answer your question here or via PM if you want.

I'm betting that they took all the pre-order money and set it aside in a bank account to gain interest. That's why we haven't seen the game at our doors yet. Maybe in another 5 years.

I'm unaware of any emails passing through my inbox regarding this, what was the issue you have?

    Cheers,
    Matt

I just wonder how good the game's development, problems that are causing the launch delay, if there is a projected date for the official launch and when the game will cost 100% ready.
As I remember it was just that, however, put more topics at hand but do not remember.
I sent the message form at the site.

Well I can't go into major detail without getting permission from those higher up than me but were gearing up for release at present. Final hardware testing is in progress once this is done things will move very quickly...

So to sum things up, we don't have a launch date.

For me the important thing is that the project is in progress. Now I am more relaxed and I trust that this game will still be in my collection!

This touches on my earlier post. I don't think he was being selfish. Back when christuserloser was buying up those preorders, no one knew there was a limited supply. They could have told people that limited quantities were available, but IMO that would have just made this situation worse. Now I think it's kind of funny he's selling a preorder of a preorder, but at least the price is still reasonable. If he wanted to scalp people he could wait until the game is released and sell them on ebay when the price skyrockets. WM should have only allowed one or two copies per person since their supplies were limited, but hindsight is 20/20.

That was the original plan when I started buying additional copies. (Waiting for the game's release that is, not scalping people.)

But then we got this email saying that they're "processing preorders on 25th October 2010", and since I needed some cash I thought: Why not offering a preorder service myself and right now instead of waiting another couple of weeks?

Now that I read that "final hardware testing is in progress" it kinda gives me a bad feeling that the game won't make it until 2011...

The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.
