Default Leaving Ebay negatived feedback question...

I bought an item about 2 1/2 weeks ago (mini wireless keyboard) from a supposedly new Ebay member that has 0 feedback. I was the very first buyer, the time has passed and nothing has been shipped or received. I now have the feeling this is a fake seller/ fraudulent transaction. I just opened a refund claim request and my question is, can I live negative feedback now while my case is still pending? I'd like to give other potential buyers the heads up that this is fake. The seller has supposedly many of the same item.

If you wish to help report this item that would be great too: http://www.ebay.com/itm/222460322199...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

    Thanks for your replies!

If you are opening a claim with ebay and particularly if the seller hasn't responded to your inquiries, go ahead and neg him.

I'd wait until the dispute actually closes.

Never buy from zero feedback sellers. It's not so hard to buy ten metric tons of crap for pennies to build up feedback over even a short period of time, and they couldn't even be bothered to do that?

Wait until there's a result, then if it goes in your favour you could leave neutral perhaps. If not, leave negative.

Looks like we manage to bring this scammer seller down. I really don't know what's the deal, but I've seen many fake sellers/items as of recently. Either for items going really cheap of for 0 feedback sellers what's the deal? how these scams work? I mean you can always ask to get your money back no problem but who losses? I very much doubt Ebay would be the loser

    Thanks ya'll

I think if they are able to transfer the money out of PP before the cases are opened and charged back then they get are able to get some free funds. I would guess that ebay and PP are refunding you and his account is left with a negative balance.

Urgggg! WTF is going on here!.. I had this item to be paid after delivery and Ebay removed it from my summary for being fraudulent. So today I got a Paypal payment reminder message that the amount was going to still be taken out of my bank I now have to supposedly deal with this directly with the seller from paypal what major WTF is this??

I have to wait for the seller or paypal to respond until Wednesday, May 3, 2017.That's nearly a month from today

Why do I have to deal with paypal since this was an Ebay transaction?

Yes and this is a big problem. They act like they are two companies but if there is trouble you have the combinded power of them on you.

Did you escalate the claim, if you did then PP shouldn't be allowed to take the money from your bank account, what I'd do is try to contact PP to see if they can resolve this, and if they refuse to help you threaten to get the AG where you live involved, most of the time they'll typically back off if you threaten to get an AG involved because they don't want any legal trouble on their hands.

Case has been closed in my favor thankfully but only time helped. I contacted Paypal and even thou the seller/transaction showed signs of being a scam they still gave the seller time to reply but there was none in the end. Rather than dragging things all the way to May 3 as I was told, instead he had to reply by April 27 (which still is a long time). Time came and went and no reply. I just can't believe the links given lead me to open a dispute on paypal when I already had a claim on Ebay, making everything to keep dragging.

Yeah I can confirm that. Had much trouble with Paypal in 2015/16.
We got a lawyer and the matter was solved quite quick.
However, Paypal still closed the account but in the end that doesn't matter.
