That was a pretty good video. I'm not sure if people remember how big of an event the release of Thriller was back in early 80s. I remember my whole family putting everything aside and sitting in front of the television to check what all the fuss was about. And then to find out it was a 14-minute horror-themed music video. Wow!
Although it's nice to hear the Thriller chiptune play in full in this pre-production cartridge, I think the final release of the game was a smarter decision. I like the idea that the 8 second Thriller snippet can only be activated after performing MJ's dance attack. Not only that, but when the music plays you get to see the zombies and MJ doing a short version of Thriller's dance choreography. It's too bad this tune was removed from later revisions.
