I love this line of thinking. If you don't believe it, it's just because you're too offended by it, and not possibly for any other reason.
I see the same attitude time again emanating from lots of cockamamie crank views, whether it's "race realism" or Jewish conspiracies, anti-immigrant hysteria, anti-Muslim hysteria, The Gay Agenda, etc. No matter what facts are cited, no matter what arguments are made, no matter what tone is taken, it inevitably comes back to the same boilerplate accusation (or insinuation) that you're just too offended/emotional and thus blind to the Real Truth. Yet it's pretty self-defeating to portray oneself as the rational, dispassionate debater while trying to cast aspersions on the other side with such vacuous assertions.
You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.
what do you mean with the netherlands? what is the netherlands? it's a country based on immigrants for the passed 400 years, so what's the matter with more immigrants? look at the usa? it's 99% immigrants. hating on immigrants would be hating on yourself. nation states are only a reflection of our imagination, an illusion. let's not forget most nation states only exist for 100-200 years. their history is shallow and could be changed just as easily and in 100 years everyone will see this new nation state as the true essence of where they live.

as well as printing press 500 years before we did and not to mention their shipbuilding techniques where so advanced they could and did sail all the oceans hundreds of years before the portugese and spanish ever tried. when marco polo entered china by land he could not believe what he saw. there are countless documentations about this. same with the aztecs in 1500. their capital tenochtitlan was so impressive for hernan cortes and his men that they thought the city must've been created by god.
I just wrote a huge reply to both you guys(abouts 400 words), but then I decided to better to flush all of it down the drain. Lets change the subject if you want the thread to stay open.

What will the most popular food be in 2100? I love nachos drowned in cheese sauce, salsa, guacamole and chilli beef. I hope this can still be found in 2100. Oh and decent cheeseburgers too.
Over here we call that 'Cultural Appropriation.' Tread lightly friend ... er, mate.
I breezed over this thread again and I really don't understand what everyone is getting so twisted up about. Compared to other threads that have popped up this year, this one was a tickle fight.
Except for (and I can't stress this enough) that weird anti-Semitic bit up above. I won't be associated with that.
I think it's a sad state of affairs when the most offensive part in a conversation is not how race is being discussed, but rather that it is being discussed. That's a good way to make racism go away, I suppose: turn every conversation about it into a knife fight so everyone is afraid to ever bring it up again.
I realise that I offended some with my views and that was not my intention. The trouble is that it's nigh on impossible to discuss such matters without causing a shitstorm. Maybe that's why people avoid the subject in the first place. A bit like the old maxim of not talking about politics or religion with friends. If I came across as ignorant or cuntish then I'm sorry for that is not me at all...well, I'm ignorant at times, and about certain subjects, but then who isn't? Anyway, I just want to say sorry for any offense and to draw a line under it. Did I mention that I really like nachos?
