How are these games able to still look so good

I really can’t put a finger on what is different about the graphics, which were pretty amazing when the games launched on the PC. Maybe, the addition of god rays and some added global illumination and shadows.

I could never get Crysis 3 to work on my PC despite endless fixes from EA technical dept and so had to put up with the 360 version, which moved at like 20 fps. Love the series as the team just nailed the gunfire It just looks and feels so satisfying to spray an enemy with loads of bullets with tons of debris being kicked up

I’ve never had any issues with playing Crysis 3 on PC. I’ve ran it on 3 different PC builds (2500k, 4790k and 9900k) and 5 different GPUs (2xGTX 460s in SLI, GTX 670, GTX 780, GTX 1080 and 2080 Super). If you have an unstable PC build, Crysis 3 will expose it.

I have those games on the OG Xbox Midway’s Arcade Treasures. I could capture screen shots from that.

Crysis 3 other than GTA (3DFX) are the only PC games I've never was able to get it working. With Crysis 3 it never got past the start screen and going on the old community at the time, I wasn't the only one with issues with the game.
It's now so nice to play the game at a decent frame rate

I've never had a problem running the game on PC. Your PC probably wasn't up to par to run it. My 2500K rig with 2 GTX 460's in SLI ran it very well at high settings.





My 4790K rig, paired with a GTX 1080 crushed it.

Cruis'n has always been Nintendo-owned. Midway made them with Jarvis. Now Raw Thrills does with Jarvis. Why it never left Nintendo consoles.
