I was goofing around with the SNES Classic and decided to revisit an old favorite, Super Metroid. Everything sounded good, but I thought that maybe the music was just a little bit off. I drug out the old SNES and booted up Super Metroid on it. The opening music sounds slightly different, but the rest seemed to be pretty spot on. I decided I'd compare S-Video SNES, to HDMI SNES Classic on my HD-CRT using 4:3 zoomed in.

The 1st two are from the SNES Classic.
















The only differences I'd noticed was that the HDMI output provided a spot on red for the Nintendo logo and the shadows next to the lettering were a little more pronounced. I really need to get into a habit of turning the contrast and brightness down on the set when I take a picture. The camera pics up too much of the phospher glow of the screen.

Still haven't beaten this game...
and I refuse to lower the difficulty.

Senko no Ronde 2. A fighting game similar to X on PS1 or Physic Force. There is DLC for Assult Suits Valken armor and Virtual ON. When I played at Valken it played the theme form it in matches.

Are you a fan of the Armored Core games by chance?

I played the shit out of the ps2 ones and I had the 1st one on the ps1 demo disc that I would always play. Amazing games.

I have only played 4 and a few minutes of 2 years ago. it's a series I been meaning to get more into. Frame gride on Dreamcast is like Virtual On with Armored Core customization.
