You know after looking into things more, I was pretty shocked to find occult worship & symbolism still being very relevant today. Like Marvel Superheroes (seen Thor Ragnarok last month), Disney cartoons/movies and in even Dark Souls. I'll never leave another "Praise the Sun" message again.

I'm still staying positive. And healthy body and mind is still a priority with me. Started some intermittent fasting, and planning on some longer term fasting to see how that affects my body and mind.

Why does a perfect being have a gender and form? Couldn't the perfect being be everything and nothing all at once across every universe and the collective conscience of every living thing while aware of every piece of matter/antimatter particles and such? An existence far beyond human comprehension? We are a limited primitive species who at this stage in evolution may as well be pre-teens. We haven't even reached Type 1 on the Kardashev scale.

I don't believe in an afterlife and am totally aspiritual, but I read Childhood's End by Arthur C Clarke in which he describes the ultimate beings of the universe as the 'Grand Galactics;' a race of matterless beings whose consciousnesses are printed on the fabric of space. I found the idea mind blowing, and after thinking about it it makes a lot of sense.

A brain is made of Many of the same component parts as the universe, just localised and organised in such a fashion as to have generated self awareness and consciousness. Part of me wonders if human consciousness could, or indeed, does achieve this 'imprinting' ever?

I reckon not, it's an extraordinary idea, but not so outlandish and as such is about as far as I personally can go in believing in any kind of soul or supernatural type of existence, as the premise is more 'scientific.'

Remember when SEGA-16 was all about oldschool SEGA hardware, games, and discussions? It still ultimately is, but why be a part of the forum if you almost exclusively post new threads in the off topic section? They could just as well be in the off topic section of a forum for any other hobby.

I don't have a problem with an off-topic thread here and there, they are a lot of fun to read thorgh, seeing what the community members have to say about some random topic or current event. But I wonder if thief is using this forum as a platform of sorts for his personal thoughts and feelings.
