Chun-Li does look very un-feminine, which is not a good situation. Seeing a lot of the old favourites in glorious 3D is awesome, but who's the woman in the suit?

I'm somewhat fine with the art style. SFII was a hideous game, and SFIV appears to be by and large a remake of it. I think Capcom's done a good job at bringing that butt ugly cast in 3-D. I'm just disappointed that the company seems to be taking a step backward after the amazing (but commercially disappointing) SFIII. I suspect that's the reason SFIV looks the way it does -- it's the safe bet to rehash past successes instead of innovating. Better to imitate Nintendo than Sega to help the bottom line I suppose.

I wouldn't say it was a *hideous* game, but you're certainly right that Alpha and III were far better artistically.

Yeah it's basically SF2 in hideous westernized-3D glory plus an SNK rip-off/inspired unattrative-looking girl fighter. I hear that this game is full of bulging crotches. Every character including Chun-Li, are supposedly equipped with thick 3D sausages. I can understand if CAPCOM is trying to attract the gay and transvestite game playing community, but this is just ridiculous! At least give Chun-Li jiggly boobs!

Crimson Viper is her name. She is so much of a typical snk character rip off and looks so out of place with the rest of the original cast. The weird hair dew isn't working out either.

I've never been an SF fan, though I did like Super Street Fighter: The New Challengers (the one with the silhouette's on a brick wall anyway!) - I did like Mortal Kombat 1/2 but that was it for me. My fave fighting game of MD era was always and will always be Eternal Champions on the Mega CD. Tho Rise of the Robots always gets a mention for how pissed off it made my mate who still to this day claims as "The worst game ever made".
Looking at this. If it comes to PS3, I'll buy it no doubt.
