No, they don't charge cheaper prices for the ones they open. Same price as new/sealed. Also if you want to bring it back and exchange it for a different game, you're screwed because it's not sealed and they only accept sealed games back. Pretend you're buying the game for someone's birthday and they give you the last copy, which isn't sealed. You discover that the person already got the game from someone else the day before and he's already playing it. You try to return your game. They will not give you a different game nor will they give you a refund. Opened game=baaaaad idea. There is absolutely no reason for them to do that.

I have never seen a physical copy of the XBOX version anywhere aside from the one copy I own.

    New or used.

I only ever saw the PSP & PS2 version in store at Toys R Us.

I have seen a few copies at Best Buy awhile back, but I haven't been in there for a couple of months now.

Heh, sorry to bump, but there are around five copies of this game for the Xbox in my area all for $12.99 used. At Gamestop also. Go figure that one out for me...

BTW, I live right near the Canadian border, well about 30 minutes from Canada. so that might help - seeing more copies where distributed in Canada.

Do they have French as a secondary language on the packaging? Serious question.

I didn't bother to check, but I've seen two copies at a gamestop five miles away, a copy at the pawnshop, and a copy at another gamestop in this plaza, and I wouldn't be surprised if the other gamestop had a copy.

I can check tomorrow if you really care.

Only if you happen to be there. No need to make a special trip or anything. I'm just curious if Canadians have to deal with that nonsense (also the Xbox copy I have is 100% English). Nintendo is starting to be really bad about it in the US, with 3 languages on each box and instruction manual. For PAL regions I think they have like 50 or 60 different languages, all of which must be catered to. Everyone should learn English as it is the best language. If it weren't, I wouldn't speak it.

yeah, I bought a couple games that were the "last copy" and what pisses me off the most is that damn sticker they put so you can't play it and return it without removing it. It leaves gobs and gobs of glue and its almost impossible to get off. I almost wanted to demand a refund after that crap, now I just tell them to leave the sticker off because I won't return it unless its defective.

I live in Canada and I had to get my copy at a Blockbuster video. It was the only 'new' copy I have ever seen for sale, but the EBs here have tons of them used.

I've only seen a copy of the Xbox version once, and that was at a Blockbuster.

That was kind of an older post but I want to clarify on this. If the haggard sticker that they put on it to "re-seal" it is intact then you can return it/switch it out for a shrink-wrapped one. If someone at one of those stores refused to take it back they are an idiot and should probably be whipped with a belt. New and re-sealed games have the same policy as any new shrink-wrapped software: You open it, its yours forever unless there is some kind of error from the manufacturer (Halo 3 release).

The floor cases are a raw deal if your a real collector, but as long as the case is in newish condition and the manuals aren't missing then its not a big deal as far as I'm concerned, since I'm just gonna open it when I get home anyways.
