Is there a way to emulate 3DS games INCLUDING the 3D effects?

Haha, well it's possible that I'm imagining it as better than it really is, lol.

Since I'm trying to emulate it... I think being on a large screen, might make it seem more impressive than on the handheld's small screen. (Then again, I'll have to see if my eyes can handle the magic eye effect on my iMac's flatscreen, including for a large image of the gameplay. ...It's possible that it won't really work out for my eyes, the way I'm imagining it, lol.)

However: If it DOES work out, for my eyes, doing the magic eye thing with a large screen window of 3DS Ecco, it would actually be amazing, I think.

I've found a ROM in the file type of .cia.

Unfortunately, at the moment, I'm not seeing what to do with the .cia file. I read that "ctr tool" can unpack it, so I got ctrtool, yet I don't see how to make it do anything. (And Citra won't play the .cia file, or open it, etc.)

Can anyone clue me in on what to do with a .cia file?

(Also I'm on a Mac if that affects the situation. And my Windows computers just died lol so I can't really try it out on a PC.)
